Getting to know me
Photography began for me at a very young age, “borrowing” my mothers Kodak instamatic camera to take photos of sunsets from our front door. I have taken photos ever since and I am never without a camera close to hand. I have used such a variety of cameras, Kodak, Hanimex, Yashica, Olympus, Canon, Minolta, Pentax over all those years and finally settled on Nikon in the 90’s.
What have I learned from photography – besides the technicalities? I started with film – No preview, No guarantees, except knowledge of the art of photography. I have learned to look at everything and everybody and see the beauty that not everybody sees. I have learned to “see” pictures where they may not be obvious. I have learned to look around, take stock of my surroundings and appreciate what I see.
What do I offer?
It is my job to follow your remit, to find the best for you and to produce together, the photos you will be happy with, be they portraits, headshots or your family shots. To commercial customers I will produce a range of photos for you to choose from, be it from stock shots or new commission work, but together we will succeed.
For your productions I will deliver a range of photos to best capture the essence of the show, the colour, the drama ,the people.
I love photography and I am both fascinated by it and amazed by the technology we now have, however my learning started with basic film photography and has progressed to the digital age to where I am today.
There is no day without learning and I constantly look for self improvement. I use only professional equipment and am professionally insured for all events.
